Pennell Kicks Off Autism Acceptance Week
Pennell Elementary students and staff came together for an exciting and meaningful kickoff to Autism Acceptance Week on March 31! The morning was filled with enthusiasm as students participated in a hallway parade, followed by a dance party in the gym, setting the tone for a week dedicated to kindness, inclusion, and understanding.
With Autism Acceptance Month beginning in April, Autistic Support teacher Ms. Harner led a special assembly to help students learn more about autism acceptance and the importance of embracing differences. The event concluded with the Pie-a-Teacher activity, bringing laughter and joy to all attendees.
Pennell Elementary is proud to celebrate Autism Acceptance Week (March 31-April 4) and reinforce the values of acceptance, respect, and support for all students.
